Updates on Jawai and Calderon

Just a quick update on Jose Calderon. As it was reported yesterday. Jose Calderon had an MRI and the results are a mild hamstring strain and he is listed as day to day. This info comes to us from "The Rap" Eric Smith's Blog on Fan 590. Here is a link to that story.

Meanwhile some news on the status of Aussie Rookie Nathan Jawai could be on the way this weekend. Nathan has been sidelined since the night before camp opened for the Raptors based on concerns for a heart issue that came out of his routine physical prior to camp starting. News from Australia that answers could be on the way.

So that is the latest on both of those matters. Calderon's status for Sunday is still up in the air. While Jawai even once he is cleared to practice has a lot of time to make up for and will no doubt be monitored closely given his heart issues.

  1. It'll be great to have Jawai back on the court. These tests have taken a surprisingly long time to finish, hopefully this will be the last of them and he can get back on the court.

I'm looking forward to seeing him get on the court later on this year.

  2. Jaaaames,
    just a request,
next season could you organize a fantasy league on ESPN or CBS rather than NBA.com b/c the NBA fantasy site format is really a annoy to operate. but could you keep the stockmarket game?
PS i dont really like the yahoo one either :P

Could you set up a fantasy league on ESPN or CBS next year, the yahoo and NBA sites are eyesores and are a hassle to use.

  4. I am just as excited and hopeful to see Nathan. But even once he gets cleared to practice we are not out of the woods yet he will be monitored closely I am thinking. But the guy wants to play BAD.

Next year is a long way off ano but if you remind me of this when we get close to setting up our leagues next year I will look into it. I actual don't mind yahoo personal. The NBA I grant you is a bit of a pain but they over a number of different style games.
